The Lotus Eletre: a High-Performing Electric SUV

The Lotus Eletre is being offered in three different trim levels, each delivering more impressive levels of performance than the last: the Eletre, the Eletre S, and the Eletre R. The standard model and Eletre S offer up to 603 horsepower, a single speed transmission, and an estimated range of 373 miles. Acceleration from 0-60 mph should take 4.5 seconds. Using lessons learned during the production of the Lotus EV hypercar, the Evija, the Eletre promises advanced aerodynamic construction and progressive suspension design.

The Lotus Eletre R: Shockingly Fast

The Eletre R is more powerful, boasting a 905-horsepower electric motor and a dual-speed transmission. The acceleration of this incredibly powerful electric vehicle is staggering; Lotus estimates a 0-60 mph dash to occur in just 2.9 seconds. Even more impressive, it will deliver a top speed of 165 mph – currently the world’s fastest dual-motor pure electric SUV. Black badging, additional carbon fiber, stainless steel pedals, and gloss black wheels visually set the Eletre R apart from the other versions.

Track Mode, only available on the Eletre R, lowers the ride height of the electric SUV using a more racetrack-ready suspension setup, offering increased adjustability and higher limits of dynamic performance. It also adds an active grille – allowing for cooling and aerodynamic advantages – and a launch control feature, which fully unleashes the power of the Eletre R.

Customize Your Lotus Eletre SUV

The new Lotus Eletre allows for highly personal customization, reflecting the uniqueness of all Lotus products. Five wheel choices, ranging from 20 to 23 inches, will be offered at launch, alongside six different brake caliper colors. Pair them with your favorite of six different available exterior colors.

While there are six different interior options, they all share one thing in common: sustainability. Lotus states that the Eletre is available with a cutting-edge, environmentally friendly leather alternative that offers more longevity than real leather. Lotus made the trunk lining and carpets from 100% recyclable materials.
